Obituary of William John Harding

William “Bill” John Harding passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Northern Colorado Medical Center. 

Bill was born in Rock Falls, Illinois on June 24, 1942, to Edward Harding and Helen Bailey.

Bill grew up in the Rock Falls area.

Bill served in the United States Marine Corp.  He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan.

He moved to Colorado in 1969, where he met the love of his life Alicia Garcia.  They were married on December 21, 1970, and were married for 53 years.

Bill worked for the Colorado Department of Transportation for twenty years.  After the highway department Bill worked for Brush Detention Center, Valley View Village and then Sunset Manor. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, bothers Tommy and Larry and sisters Judy and Shirley.

He is survived by his wife Alice, daughters Lori Williams (Kevin), Lynn Riggetti (David), Cindy Ingram (Dan) of Rollinsville Colorado, and Aimee Dollerschell (Chris) of Stoneham Colorado.

Grandchildren Kyle Williams, Holly Riggetti, Logan & Mariah Ingram, Kayla & Riley Dollerschell

Great Grandkid – Arya Ingram

Bill is also survived by foster children Alishia Fisher and Adam Kinion. Grandchild Dakota Kinion.

Memorial Service will be held at Platte Valley Baptist Church in Fort Morgan on January 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.
