Obituary of Gayle Fayette Fassler-Huss

Gayle Fassler-Huss, 61of Evans passed on July 2, 2023, at the hospital with her devoted husband Bob at her side. She was born on 10/31/1961 in Fayetteville, AK. to Quain and Beverly Jahrman.

Gayle grew up with her family living in many states and several countries prior to making CO their home in 1969 where she attended University High and Aim's. She met her beloved husband Bob and celebrated 33yrs of marriage. Together they raised 5 boys, Chad, (Kendall), Joey, (Jenn), Eric, (Liza), Johnny, (Lindsay), and Sam. Her most treasured memories were her 12 grandchildren: Allissa, Braidon, Drew, Cody, Josh, Jenea, Robert (RJ), Nathan, Cayden, Colton, Kyla, and Josslyn. Also 3 great grandchildren, Finleigh, Faith, and Rilynn. With her love for animals, you never knew what was new in her ZOO!

Gayle's faith in Jesus was shared with her family and friends. She was a blessing to all and loved by everyone, nobody was a stranger to her, especially children. For several years, Gayle enjoyed having a home day care center. Followed by 16 years as a community service officer for the GPD which ended when she had to take a medical retirement in 2008. Her remaining years were spent struggling with the progression of Muscular Dystrophy.... Despite fighting MD, Gayle wanted to continue to help people and worked as a grief counselor with CISM.

Gayle was preceded in death by her parents and older brother, Kenny. Her brother-in-law Phillip Bedingfield. Survived by her sister-in-law Marcy (Mike,) and sister Joy, (Terry), nephews Rob (Gisselle), and Jeremy.

Her celebration will be at the Church of the Nazarene (2515 W 16th st,Grly) on July 13, 2023 at 1:00 with a reception to follow. Funeral arrangements are provided by Northern CO Crematory, 700 8th st, Greeley, CO 80631.
