                                             “I wouldn’t mind dying young… I’ve had a full life already.”

Joshua James Crowner, passed away unexpectedly on May 28, 2023, in Keenesburg, Colorado. He was only 44 years old. His wife and family are deeply saddened by his sudden death.

Josh was born on June 16, 1978, to Roger and Linda Crowner in Des Moines, Iowa. Josh grew up in Littleton, Colorado and graduated from Columbine High School in 1996 where he excelled in football and baseball.

After graduating, Josh attended Midland and University of Northern Colorado where he began working at Home Depot in Greeley, Colorado. At Home Depot is where he met his soulmate Angie, and found his love for home remodeling. This kickstarted his ownership of TWG Construction with his dad.

Josh and Angie got married on April 15th, 2016 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and they recently moved to Keenesburg, Colorado, where Josh found his love for the country and being a rancher. He even found a love for the goats and mowing the pasture in his tractor.

Josh was someone who would give the shirt off his back for those he cared about. He had an enormous heart and always wanted to make sure everyone was taken care of. Josh liked to have a good time and include everyone.

Josh has been sent home to heaven to care for his little boy Trenton, and live his best life on a large farm caring for cattle, goats, and driving his tractor. He will be having many steak dinners with his grandparents Irma and Lloyd Gonnerman and Harold and Kathryn Crowner, with his cousin Adam Haht, and many great uncles and aunts, and many friends. He will have his guard dogs Misto, Max, and Rusty to look over his farm and give the best snuggles. While he will be dearly missed on Earth, God knew he was needed more up in heaven.

Josh was survived by his loving wife Angie Crowner, his parents Roger and Linda Crowner, his parents in-law John and Beth Boyle, his sister Jenny and brother in-law Tom Lopez, his nieces Alli, Gillian (Jacob) Reed, and Morgan (TJ) Vanlandingham. His aunts Dee Crowner, Kay (Lynn) White, and Rita Haht, and his cousins Jon (Michelle) Vaala, and Erin Haht. Although he didn’t have any pets, he was also survived by his best furfriend Hope and Chewy. Josh touched many lives and was loved by so many that are not listed because that would take a century to write.

Instead of a traditional memorial service, Josh wanted to “have a big party” which will take place on June 25th, 2023 from 12pm-4pm at Robert’s Italian Restaurant & Deli (6745 West Ken Caryl Avenue Littleton, Colorado 80128. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
