Obituary of Richard Gonzalez

Richard Gonzalez,71, of Evans Colorado passed away on May 10th 2023 at his home. He was born on December 1st 1951 to Joe and Theodora (Sanchez) Gonzalez in Greeley.

He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1969-1972. He moved to San Diego, California in 1981 to follow his job as a marble and brick masonry. He moved back home to Greeley in 1996. He loved to work on cars, listen to music , play with his puppies and spend time with his family and his granddaughter Mia. He will be greatly missed by all his loved ones, he loved everyone deeply, he would help everyone as much as he could, stranger or not.

Richard is survived by his ex wife, Stacie Rucobo; his daughters, Erica Gonzalez, Catrina Jimenez (Michael Flores), Domonique Gonzalez, and Raquel Gonzalez; his son Jose Gonzalez; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; his two sisters, Janie (Eliberto) Gonzales and Guadalupe( Miguel) Sirio; his four brothers, Felipe (Maria) Gonzalez, Frank Gonzalez, Phillip (Laura) Gonzales, Luciano (Yvonne) Gonzales and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Albert Carillo, George Sanchez, Joe Gonzales and Nicholas Gonzales. His sisters, Linda Gonzales and Paula Duran.

His memorial is on Friday, June 2nd, 2023 at 2pm at Northern Colorado Crematory 700 8thSt Greeley,Co
