Obituary of Earlene Lucile Vincent

Earlene Lucile Jensen-Vincent, age 79, died March 10, 2023, at Northern Colorado Medical Center In Greeley Colorado, with her family by her side.

Earlene was born in Port Angeles, Washington in 1943, to Earl and Lucile Jensen. While she was still a baby, the family moved to Sacramento, California. Earlene attended Sacramento High School, where she met the her future husband Clarence ( C.H.) Vincent, and they started dating when they were just 16 and 17. She went on to graduate high school in 1961, and attended cosmetology school after that. C.H. and Earlene were united in marriage on Feb. 16, 1963, in Sacramento California, and had just celebrated their 60th anniversary with family & friends on Feb 16, 2023.

Earlene had a career that started as a cosmetologist, and then worked over the years in several roles including the Executive Director for the Mother Lode Camp Fire Council Girls and Boys Club in Roseville CA. She retired in 2002 from the State of California as a Data Analyst, for the Department of Corrections.

Earlene and CH moved their family from Sacramento to Loomis, California, and became part of the Del Oro High School fabric and Loomis community. Earlene and C.H. were always volunteering to help at school events, and worked the clock at the Del Oro High School Basketball games for over 30 years.

After both of their retirement’s, CH & Earlene traveled for 13 years in their motorhome, visiting family and friends all over the country. They moved to Greeley, Colorado, and settled down there in the last few years.

Earlene’s primary love in her life where her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband C.H. Vincent, daughter Leanne Vincent-Ingwersen (Ron Ingwersen), and son Scott Vincent (Christine Vincent) . Grandchildren Jeff Loveland (Allie Loveland), Tyler Loveland and Jessica Loveland ( Greg Indivero), Victoria Vincent and Oliva Vincent. Great-Grandsons’ Miles Loveland and Micah Loveland.

She was known to many as “Nannie”, and loved spending time with her family. She was an avid sports fan, and stayed true to her hometown teams the San Francisco Giants and 49ers, even after moving to Colorado.  

She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Lucile Jensen, and brothers Frank Jensen and David Jensen, and sister Sharon Jensen Kendrick.

A celebration of life will be held later this year in their hometown of many years- Loomis, California.
