Obituary of Douglas Dale Barber

We are heartbroken to announce the death of our father Doug Barber. He passed away peacefully on January 31st at the age of 61, surrounded by family and close friends. My dad enjoyed fishing, gambling, collecting different items, watching football, spending time with family, going to the movies, and many other things. He was always willing to help any of his friend and family in any way he could. Doug was very giving, he touched so many people’s lives. He was loved by everyone that knew him and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his mother Elaine, daughter Brooke (Manuel) Reyes, son Dalton Sherrets, ex-wife and mother of his children Karen Barber, grandkids Bella Barber-Gonzales and Niko Reyes, siblings Kenny(Margaret), Garry and Janet Roberts, (6) nieces and nephews, many great and great grand nieces and nephews, as well as many cousins, and a lot of life-long friends.

Proceeded in death by his father Richard (Dick), grandparents, brother-in-law Ken Roberts, as well as uncles.

Services will be held Tuesday, February 7th at 2:30pm at the Greeley Vineyard Church located at 1015 9th Ave #4013, Greeley, CO 80631. The reception will follow and be held at the same location.
