Obituary of Rudolph James Kalcich Jr.

Rudolph James Kalcich Jr. passed away peacefully on the afternoon of December 19, 2022 in Greeley, CO.

He was born on April 27, 1943 in Laurium, MI. to Ruth Gagnon and Rudolph J Kalcich Sr. He completed his schooling in the Lake Linden schools. He was known as Jim or Rudy. On February 5, 1990, he married Linda Klepper in Thermopolis, Wyoming.

Rudy worked in underground copper mining, woodworking at Northern Hardwoods and went into the oil and gas industry when he moved out west. After many years as maintenance superintendent in Weld County Colorado, Rudy retired from DCP.

Rudy is survived by Linda, his wife of 32 years; his children, Paul (Michelle) Kalcich, Terri (Ken) Olsen of Calumet MI, Melody (Jason) Warchol of Warren, MI, Tim (Tabby) Kalcich of Detroit, MI and Adrianne Rhein of Midland, TX. He is also survived by his brother, Raymond (Sandra) Kalcich of Lake Linden, MI. Ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews will miss Rudy.

Preceeding in death were his father, mother and sister Patricia Zerbst of Houghton, MI.

At Rudy's request, he will be cremated and buried in Colorado.
