Charles Baird, 82 of Greeley, died at his home on October 19, 2022.  He was born September 9, 1940, in Greeley to Clyde and Mary Baird.  On September 9, 1962, he married Ramona C. Renner, the love of his life for 49 years, 11 months and one day.

Mr. Baird was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Lauri (Mike) Lucas of Littleton, Cari (Tony) Johnson of Brighton, Sherri (Paul) Veneziano of Berthoud; grandchildren Jason (Rebecca) Speaker of Limon, Dustin (Jacki) Speaker of Imperial, NE., Matthew Johnson of Greeley, Tonya Johnson of Brighton, Garrett and Zachary Veneziano both of Berthoud; three great-grandchildren, Kourtynie Speaker of McCook, NE, Bradley Speaker of Imperial, NE, Emily Speaker of Limon; brothers, Bob (Sandy) Baird of Briggsdale, Walter (Nancy) Baird of Bakersfield, CA, John Baird of Eaton; sisters, Charlene Herbst of Greeley, Betty Hubbard of Eaton and numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ramona Baird; parents, brothers; Billy Baird, Floyd Baird, Don Baird and Junior Baird; sister, Marion Jaycox.

                Memorial Service is at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 1800 21^st Ave., Greeley, CO 80631.

                Mr. Baird is being cremated and his ashes will remain with his wife, Ramona’s ashes.
