Obituary of Arpad Charles Gottlinger

Arpad C Gottlinger passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday September 29, 2022 at the age of 89.  Arpad was born in Pecs, Hungary on January 24, 1933.  He played professional soccer for Hungary and migrated to the United States with his beloved wife Gabriella in 1957.

Arpad worked in various lines of work predominantly in the automotive aftermarket industry, most notably for a company named Fiberglass Evercoat based out of Cincinnati, OH for almost 30 years. He was a lifelong fan of good quality soccer, liked to travel, and enjoyed lively card games - and more often than not, winning them.

He is survived by his 2 sons, Charlie and George, 5 grandchildren - Christopher, Michael, Elise, Madeleine and Daniel, and three great grandchildren - Emmett, Keeley and Colette.

His loving, caring spirit will be deeply missed. May he rest in peace in the loving arms of his Savior while his family mourns the loss of his love and celebrates the gifts and joys of his wonderful life.
