Obituary of William Edward Sayles

William ‘Bill’ Sayles, 78, of Greeley, Colorado, went to be with the Lord, on June 26, 2022, from his home in Greeley.

 

Bill was born in Powell, Wyoming to Emil Sr. & Jennie (Crosswait) Sayles on April 4, 1944.  On June 4, 1968, in Cody, Wyoming, Bill married the love of his life, Sandra ‘Sandy’ (Hojio) Sayles.

 

Bill was a kind and gentle man who always had a smile and a deep belly laugh. Everyone loved him, especially all his nieces and nephews. He had a passion for farming, woodworking and hunting. God Bless all the wonderful neighbors for their love and support in this time of need.

 

Bill is survived by his loving wife; sisters, Margaret (Roy) Hojio, Mary (Ray) Dorr, Bonnie (Winston) Miller, Kathy (Dave) Vigil, and Etta May (William) Hojio; and many nieces & nephews whom Bill loved.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Emil Sayles Jr.

 

A private family celebration will be held at a later date.
