Obituary of Ruth Elaine Lee

Ruth Elaine (Fewlass Lee) Bowers, 89, passed into eternity on June 2, 2022 in her home.

Ruth was born April 24, 1933 in Bell, California. She was married to James Lee in 1957 until 1977 in Denver, CO. Ruth then married Robert C. Bowers in 1978 and moved to Galeton, CO in 1988 and later to Greeley in 2015.

Ruth gradutated from Edgewater High School in 1951 and worked for Mountain Bell Telephone Company for many years. She ws a homemaker, seamstress, secretary, gardener, rock collector, historian, and genealogist. She loved her pets, square dancing, the mountains, humming birds, antiques, collectables, cars, car shows and most of all, her family. 

Ruth is survived by her husband, Bob Bowers; a daughter, Martha (Marti) Baiamonte (Paul); a sister, Maxine Brands; for grandchildren, Bond Biamonte (Jen), Wes Baiamonte (Kaitlin), Rorey Doyle (Heidi), Sarah Doyle; and five great grandchildren, Braydon, Bennett Baiamonte, Warren, Faith and Hailey Doyle; as well as several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Ruth is preceded in death by her father, John Fewlass; mother, Clyda Bockman; great aunt, Mabel Matthews; sister, Debbie Crumbaugh; brother, Phil Sandage Fewlass; daughter, Laura Wilkerson; and grandson, Casey Lee Houser.

A life celebration will be held at Northern Colorado Crematory, 700 8th St., in Greeley, CO 80631 on June 27th at 11:00am to 1:00pm.
