Linda Kay Baptie June 28, 1949 - June 4, 2022

Linda Kay Baptie, of Loveland, Colorado passed away on June 4, 2022 in Northern Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colorado with her beloved husband, Jerry at her side. Linda was born June 28, 1949 in Akron, Ohio to Raymond Boyd Long & Helen Maxine (McClure) Long. She married Gerald Lorun Baptie on November 17, 1973 in the United Methodist Church in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. She grew up in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. She graduated from Chagrin Falls High School in 1968 and went to Kent State University to study art. Linda loved photography and sold her work in art galleries.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Baptie, her sister and brother-in-law, Diane Rae (Long) Sheehan and her husband Martin Eugene Sheehan, her niece, Danielle Nicole & her husband, Matthew Lloyd Bellamy and their sons, Jackson William & Jacob Martin Bellamy, her sister and brother-in law, Donna & her husband Kenneth Temple, her sister-in law, Pennie Baptie, her brother-in law Dale and his wife Peggy Baptie and their children, along with numerous cousins, friends and neighbors.

She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond Boyd and Helen Maxine Long, her mother and father-in-law, Ward Everett & Ruth Isabelle Baptie and her brother-in-law Thomas Ward Baptie.

Linda enjoyed reminiscing about her childhood in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and the many adventures she and Jerry shared including traveling across the United States in their camper, taking pictures, beautiful flowers, and her neighborhood in Loveland, Colorado. Loveland was her “Happy Place”.
