Obituary of Emma Luzmoor

Emma Ruth Luzmoor, 65, of Greeley, passed away peacefully after a valiant battle with kidney disease, May 23, 2022 in Greeley.

 

Emma was born in Longmont, CO to parents Harry and Dora (Manson) Hergenreder on August 19, 1956.

 

Emma was married at a young age and had two children, Christopher and Denise. She had two grandchildren and was proud that she was able to see one of them graduate from high school. Emma enjoyed many hobbies and interests. Her favorite job was being a security guard at the Greeley beef and lamb plants for many years. She loved singing karaoke and always made sure to sing a song by Patsy Cline. She enjoyed playing bingo, taking trips to the casino, fishing, watching her son race, attending derbies and much more. One of Emma's biggest passions was making sure she embroidered kitchen hand towels as gifts to newlyweds, graduates, new homeowners, and new parents.

 

Emma is survived by her mother, Dora Hergenreder; two children, Christopher Luzmoor and Denise Luzmoor; seven siblings, Dana(Ysela) Hergenreder, Connie(Steve) Tully, Bobby(Sandra) Hergenreder, Marvin(Shelley) Hergenreder, Tom(Becky) Hergenreder, Joyce(Mike) Serena, and Allen Hergenreder; two grandchildren, Nicolas(Jessica) Burt, and Weston Amos; one great grand-child, Leah Marie Burt, and a large extended family.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Hergenreder; brother, Charles Hergenreder; good friend, Cindy, and her beloved chihuahua CoCo.

 

 

Services to celebrate Emma’s life will be announced when they are to be held at a later date.
