Obituary of Ruth Fehr

Ruth Fehr, 69, passed away Wednesday April 27th, 2022 after an extended battle with cancer. Ruth was born March 5th, 1953 to Randall and Ann (Belanger) O’Bannon in Gering, NE where she spent her childhood, graduating from Gering High School in 1971 . She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska before relocating to Greeley, CO where she enjoyed over 40 years as a dental hygienist. While in Greeley, Ruth married Duane Fehr and raised sons Stuart and Kyle. They spent their family time vacationing all over the country camping, mountain biking and hiking. Ruth and Duane sold their home in Greeley seven years ago and started traveling full-time in their RV enjoying the US and Canada and meeting many friends along the way. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and brother Randy and is survived by her brother Richard (Betty), husband Duane, sons Stuart (Megan), Kyle (Kalen) and grandchildren Audrey and Ian. Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life gathering 2pm Saturday, May 21st at the Village Cooperative 4527 24th Street Rd, Greeley, CO 80634.
