Obituary of Jacob D. Houg

Jacob D. Houg of Greeley Co. passed away April 17,2022. Jacob was born in Wisconsin to Tom and Kari Houg of Rhinelander on November 16,1985. Jacob Married the love of his life on August 19,2020. The couple got married at the beginning of the pandemic lockdown, and live streamed their ceremony for all there loved ones to see that they each found someone that would put up them.

The couple loved to ride there motorcycles and fixing up there newly purchased house that they were in the middle of remolding the basement. Jacob designed the layout and design as well as the landscaping of the yard. Jacob was a brilliant man who spent a good majority of his life as a software security engineer.  Jacob loved to play dinosaurs with his son (Finnley) and teaching his daughter (Mavie) to skate.  

Jacob is survived by his wife Jessica Houg his beautiful children, Mavie and Finnley, his brothers, Justin (Melissa) Houg and Jared Houg, niece Emma Houg and many nephews, Davis Houg and Jase Houg. Jacob is preceded in death by many family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date.
