Obituary of Adam Rangel Barrera

Adam Rangel Barrera, 52 of Greeley, Colorado, was taken too soon on February 13th, from his home in Greeley.

He was born to Alfredo Castillo Barrera Sr. and Locadia "Marge" S. Rangel, on December 30, 1969 in Sterling, Colorado.

Adam grew up with four siblings in Kersey, Colorado. He always played with his brothers and sisters and had fun being a kid. As he got older, he became a more private man, yet he still loved his family, especially his mom. He enjoyed reading about history and war, loved to watch TV, and especially loved to eat home cooking. He also enjoyed playing with his nieces and nephews when they came to visit their grandparents. Adam was also an avid Denver Broncos fan. Although he was very private, his family always knew he loved them and they loved him just as much.  His presence will be greatly missed.

His brother, Andrew, also wanted to tell a short story of the time they shared together growing up.

"My brother Adam loved to read and he would on occasion share some of the knowledge that he earned from it. Thinking back on some of these moments with him I remember that he would actually just let it rip; so to speak and he would let me share that knowledge. In those precious instances he would open up and show me his personality; I will never forget those times when he was comfortable enough to speak aloud knowing that I would listen. Adam my brother, my friend; your memory will walk with me always and I love you man and we will talk again; I have faith on that R.I.P." - Andrew Rangel Barrera

Adam is survived by his siblings: Juanita and her husband Rich, Alfredo Jr. and his wife Angelina, Andrew and his wife Michelle, and Amy Barrera. Nephews and nieces: Isaac Barrera, Delia Ramirez, Arielle Lozano, Rudy Lozano, Nancy Lozano, Alfredo Barrera III, Mario Barrera, Victor Garza, Noah Barrera, Nick Sepeda, Jori Sepeda, Jailex Barrera, Esai Barrera, and Riani Barrera.
