Oh Evva Lou, I'm gonna miss you. You were such a joy to have as a neighbor and I cherish having known and loved you. I'm so sorry I didn't know about your celebration of life but I will always celebrate you in my heart.

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4)
My family’s deepest condolences go out to you, Clem, for the loss of your dear wife and soulmate. God called home another faithful saint. I pray that He will also embrace you with His love as you grieve for your loss. Life without your beloved Evva Lou will truly be difficult, but my family and I pray that God will comfort your heart and fill your soul with love and peace. She is loved and will be missed.
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)

Thanks to whoever sent the email about Evva Lou's death. My wife Bonnie and I were high school classmates with Evva Lou in Falls City. Bonnie and Evva Lou were very close friends during those four years and spent lots of time together. Unfortunately, Bonnie died on February 28, 2020. Now the two of them can once again enjoy each other's company. We last shared good times with both Clemm and Evva Lou at our 50th high school reunion in 2000. My heartfelt condolences to all the family.

Evva Lou was one of the most delightful, sincere, open, and quick-witted people I've ever known. The photo selected for her captures her spirit and joy in life...so evident to whomever knew her. She and Clem represent everything a couple committed to their marriage should be: caring, sharing, devoted to each other and to helping others. Theirs truly was a match made in heaven. Tom and I send our love, prayers, and sympathy to the entire family. She will always be remembered and treasured for the positive impact she made during her life on earth's journey.
