Obituary of Sean Stitt

Sean Christopher Stitt, 45, of Greeley, passed away on December 3, 2021, in Greeley, Colorado. Sean was born in Greeley, Colorado to Dennis C. Stitt & Mona K. Siglinger-Stitt on August 22, 1976. Sean was raised and lived in Greeley, Colorado. He graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1995. Sean enjoyed his time in Boy Scouts and Explorer Scouts. He was also an avid BMX bike racer. He made many lifetime friendships during his time in Scouts and BMX. In high school him and his father restored and old ’74 chevy NOVA police car so he could race it at Bandimere Speedway. Sean was self-employed as a finish carpenter at the time of his death. He was a very skilled and meticulous carpenter and loved what he did. He took much pride in his work leaving his signature craftmanship on many areas of Colorado and California. He was not only good as a carpenter but at many other arts, crafts and projects. He put his signature on all his work (SCS). Sean could be found many weekends hanging out with friends in the mountains camping or playing golf. He loved showing his friends kids that playing in the mud was fun and loved to listen to the stories of Bigfoot and play along with the kids’ imagination while camping. He also enjoyed cooking and gardening on the front porch of his apartment. Sean was an animated storyteller and loved jokes. He also like number patterns, and he passed on 12-3-21. Since his moms passing, he loved collecting heart shaped rocks and pennies from heaven. Sean was wanting to become a drug and alcohol counselor to help others in need. Sean’s nieces and nephew meant the world to him. Sean was always sincere in everything he did, he loved with his whole heart and was well loved by many friends and family. He was passionate, giving, empathetic, funny and adventurous. Sean was always helping everyone else before himself. There is nothing he would not do for friends and family. He will be truly missed especially his smile and heart to heart hugs. Sean is survived by his father Dennis (Marla), sister Staci, Nieces Ceejay (Daniel) and Kayla, and Nephew Jayton. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mona, grandparents, great grandparents, as well as other family and good friends. Finally, he will be reunited with his best puppy companions Cuca and Saber. A celebration of life will be held on Friday December 17, 2021 at 3:00p.m. at the Journey Christian Church in Greeley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in honor of Sean in care of Northern Colorado Crematory 700 8th Street, Greeley Colorado 80631.
