Obituary of Eliria Lopez

Eliria Lopez, 93, of Greeley, Colorado (formerly of Manassa, Colorado) went home to the Lord on November 25, 2021 in Greeley. Eliria was born in Lobatos, Colorado to Telesforo and Epifania (Duran) Lopez on July 27, 1928. On November 1, 1952 in Taos, NM, Eliria married Feliberto Lopez. She found fulfillment and purpose of working many years in health care caring for others in the San Luis Valley area. Full of life, she loved people and was always ready to give a helping hand. She loved to laugh and always had a story to share. She loved to cook and anyone that entered her kitchen never left hungry. She loved sewing and crocheting, fishing, camping, her dogs, and most of all her farm. Eliria’s life centered around her religious faith with her endless devotion through prayer to our Lord. Eliria is survived by her siblings, Alicia Lopez and Mary Soto, and a loving extend family of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Feliberto,; siblings, Dulcinea Rivera, Mercades Brito, Orlinda Martinez, Margaret Buss; and parents. A private family celebration of life will be planned in the future.
