Obituary of Henry Burback

Henry "Hank" Burback 62, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 23, 2021. Henry Burback was the third child born to Donald Burback and Virginia ( Renfro) Burback on March 18, 1959. Hank grew up in the areas of Ault, Pierce, Nunn and Greeley. He attended Greeley West High School, where he played football. After graduating from West High he enlisted into the United States Army where he served 4 years in Germany and Greece as a PFC in the 1st Battalion, 59th Air Defense Artillery. While in the Army Hank acquired certification as a Battery Mechanic and completed the Track Vehicle Mechanic course. He was honorably discharged in 1983. Hank held many jobs through the years, he drove semi's, logged trees, he worked in security for many companies. He ended his working years as a Custodian for the Windsor School District in 2019. Hank loved football " DA BEARS" but would root for the Denver Broncos because his wife said so! He enjoyed many things including working on cars, where he taught his kids the basics. He loved music, especially AC/DC and Pink Floyd. He loved life, a good joke and of course an ice cold beer! Hank was a very kind and caring person to all he ever met, and gave the world's best bear hugs! Henry was preceded in death by his father, mother, two brothers George and John Burback. Father in law, Mother in law and a son in law. Hank is survived by his loving wife Dona Burback, a sister Patty and Jim Mahan, a brother Daniel Burback, Children: Kelli and Jeremy (Newman), Lerin and Lyndsee Miller, Kamie Miller, Grandchildren: Jordin Miller, Brody, Breckyn, Braylee Miller and Step grandchildren: Michael, Andru, Frank Szmutko and Donte Newman. As well as two nieces and one nephew. Rest in Peace Papa Bear.
