Obituary of Lazaro Antuna Junior

Lazaro (Bert) Antuna Jr. October 13, 1936 - November 25, 2021 Age: 85 Residence: Greeley Lazaro Antuna Jr., 85, of Greeley, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Nov. 25, 2021, in Greeley. Lazaro was born in Kersey, CO to Lazaro Sr. and Rosa (Lugo) Antuna on October 13, 1936. On Nov. 25, 1955, in Greeley, Lazaro married Simona (Gomez) Antuna and together they shared 4 beautiful children: Cynthia, Kelly, Justine (Johnny), and Kevin (Amy). Lazaro was a devoted Denver Broncos, Denver Nuggets, and Colorado Rockies fan. He was always dressed to the 9’s and enjoyed going to his grandchildren’s sporting events and activities, eating good Mexican food, and spending time with family. His hobbies were collecting toy cars, watching old westerns, and adding to his Nike tennis shoe collection. Lazaro is survived by his wife; children; siblings, Bessy, Joe, Rosemary, and Sal; Antuna grandchildren Tanea, Brandon (Ashlie), Shena (Rene), Jessica, Kalyssa, Kendra, Shannen, Kianna, Niko, Kade, Analise, Adrian, Yazmene, Cruz, Sophia, and Meela. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 8th, at 10:30 am at Our Lady of The Peace Catholic Church.
