Obituary of John Louis Delgado

John Louis Delgado., 68, of Denver, went on to be with Jesus on November 18, 2021. John was born in Coolidge Arizona to Ernest Delgado and Emelia Priscilla Sanchez on September 24, 1953. John married his lovely wife Bonnie Delgado on July 25, 1982 as they were together for 40 years. John had seven siblings, brothers Ernie, Donny, Sherman (Ray), Mike Delgado , sisters Gladys(Dee)Leader, Dolly Fender, Marcella Baca John was a devoted working man who retired from the Denver Housing Authority as a maintenance utility man on to work for the City and County of Denver and retired as and equipment operator specialist . During his life, John was a devoted husband and father, he raised and loved his two children Shawn Delgado and Monica Gallegos. John loved playing golf with his friends. He also loved meeting new people as he shared the gospel of Jesus Christ. John loved attending bible studies and men’s group as he found any opportunity to grow his relationship with God. He never missed a Sunday service as he was devoted to serving his church in many ways. John loved spending time with his family and friends taking lots of pictures as memories were very important to him. John is survived by his two children Shawn Delgado, Monica Gallegos (Carlos), five grandchildren, Carlos Gallegos Jr, Shawn David Delgado Jr., Santana Ray Delgado, Shyann Alexis Gallegos, and Jordyn Alexis Gallegos. Six great-grandchildren Chloe, Olivia , Reign, Ezra, Adrian and Níko and numerous nieces and nephews and a large loving extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; beautiful wife Bonnie Delgado; siblings, Donny Delgado, Gladys (Dee) and Marcella Baca.
