Obituary of Steven Hankel

Steven Richard Hankel was born on 3-5-1954 and passed on 10-24-2021 at the age of 67 while living in Greeley Colorado. He was born in Aurora Colorado to Richard Hankel and Ruby Reichel. He spent his childhood in Eaton Colorado and graduated school in 1972 at Eaton High School. Steven worked as a farmer and at Kodak before he became disabled. Steven's hobbies and interests included collecting model cars, toy tractors, racecars, craftwork, and driving RC boats at lakes. Steven will always be remembered for his quick wit, sense of humor, and his loyalty to friendships. He is survived by his sisters Sandra Rhoads spouse of Rex, Susan Hopper spouse of Greg, and Sharon Kahl of Greeley. Steven is also survived by his father Richard Hankel of Greeley and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Ruby Hankel, grandparents, brother in law, and beloved dog Scooby.
