Obituary of Rita Beatrice Sisneros

Rita Sisneros, 85, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away on September 23, 2021 in Greeley. Rita was born in Denver, Colorado to Lorenza & Benerita (Martinez) Martinez on July 29, 1936. On March 12, 1955 in Brighton, Colorado, Rita married the love of her life, Gilbert Sisneros Sr. Rita loved spending time gardening and tending to her flowers. A great love for her was to surround herself with animals of all sorts and sizes. She loved every creature she crossed paths with and they loved her in return. Rita is survived by her husband; children, Gilbert (Darla) Sisneros Jr, Danny (Mary) Sisneros, Deb (Mike) Wright, and Michael Sisneros; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Joe (Joann) Martinez, Danny (Ann) Martinez, Maddie Bueno, and Mona Lopez; and a large loving extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Stella Vigil, and Manuel Martinez. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Summer of 2022.
