Obituary of Scott Cook

Scott Curtis Cook (December 7th, 1959 – September 22nd, 2021) Scott was born to James and Susan on December 7th, 1959, in Greeley Colorado. He went to rest with Jesus Christ his lord and savior on September 22nd of 2021. His childhood was very happy with all the love his family shared with one another. Scott grew up and attended school in the Greeley area. He joined the Army and received his GED while serving. Scott Married his first love Mary "Cookie” Eliason and they had two beautiful daughters, Kari and Tosha. He and Mary later divorced but remained friends throughout his life. Scott was happy to marry the love of his life Vicki Garretson. They spent time living in Jackson Hole Wyoming, Greeley Colorado and in Phoenix Arizona. Him and Vicki never had any children together, but they enjoyed birds tremendously and had several they raised together. Scott spent most of his early life in Auto sales and later in life worked in the flooring industry. He eventually spent time taking care of Vicki as she had become ill in the last couple years of her life. Scott enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, cars, and motorcycles. He was very charismatic and had a great sense of humor. He liked giving everyone nicknames. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, wife, uncles, and aunts. Scott is survived by his two daughters Kari Newell and Husband Ryan of Kansas, Tosha Cook of Kansas, grandchildren Austin, Justin, Lexee, Jamie, Ali, and Dustie, his two brothers Christopher Cook and wife Sheila of Colorado, and Darrin Cook and wife Pamela of Colorado and his nephews Jimmy, Levi, Devin, Braden and his niece Bonnie and husband James. Scott wished that upon his death that his family and friends take his remains and spread them out at the Colorado River Lake Granby Area. He also wanted everyone to know that "I’m Scott and your not”. In leu of flowers donations can be sent to Northern Colorado Crematory to help with funeral expenses.
