Obituary of Elijah Castillon

Elijah Jeremy Castillon, "Unk”, went to be with his Lord Jesus at the age of 43 on Wednesday, September 15, 2021. Elijah was born in Fort Collins, CO on January 1, 1978. Elijah had huge heart to help those in need and was known to literally give someone the shirt off his back. Elijah was involved in numerous ministries throughout his life and was the founder of Street Life Ministries, a ministry for troubled youth on the streets of Fort Collins. Later, Elijah founded Street Lights of Grace in Greeley which aimed to provide hope for the hopeless in the homeless community which included providing meals, haircuts, showers, clothing, transportation, friendship, love, and guidance to those in need. Elijah is survived by His loving bride of 11 years, Jacinda "Jacie” Castillon; his children Topanga, Isaac, Elizza, Miguel, Isaiah, Lucas, Easton, and Tristin; and his grandchildren Ezra and Ezekiel. On his mother’s side, Elijah is survived by his sisters Wendy Palmer, Alicia Walker and her spouse Stephen Banks, and Jodi Montez; his brothers Josh Montez and Jeremy Montez; his nieces and nephews Connor, Austin, Jordan, Alyxandrea, Aiyana, Harley, Dakota, Sierra, and Jordan; his aunts and uncles Donald and spouse Patsy, Carl, Steve, Nana; and several cousins. Elijah was preceded in death by his mother, Pamela "Mas” Palmer and his nephew, James. On his father’s side, Elijah is survived by his father, Elias Castillon Jr.; his Aunt Audi; his siblings Maria, Jose, Tommy, Rebecca, Corey, Elias, and Mario; his cousins April, Dreama, Oscar, and numerous other cousins, nieces, nephews, and family members. A Celebration of Elijah’s life will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021, at City Lights Church, 4100 20th St., Greeley, CO, with Pastor Kurt Chamberlain officiating. Reception to follow the service at City Lights Church.
