Obituary of Jack Clinton Langley Snr.

Jack Clinton Langley Snr. passed away on the evening of October 29, 2023.

Jack was born on July 29, 1953 in Greeley, CO to Cecil and Evelyn(Brown) Langley.

He maintained residency in the Evans area for most of his life, until moving to Arizona for a time for work. He was a hard worker and enjoyed his career as a heavy equipment operator and a superintendent for many years.

Jack married the love of his life, Shelly, in eastern Colorado on December 31, 1981.

Jack and Shelly had almost 43 beautiful years together.

To Jack, family was everything. He had three children, eight grandchildren and three great grand-daughters.

Jack had a love of working and going to the mountains, but nothing compared to time spent babysitting his grandchildren. He always made sure to wear his “babysitting clothes”, which consisted of the softest clothing he could find.

 

Jack was a big family man and will be deeply missed.

 

Jack is survived by his beloved wife, Shelly; children, Kenny, JC and Lacey; eight grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; two sisters and one brother; many nieces and nephews; several close friends and a large loving family.

 

Jack is preceded in death by his father, Cecil; mother, Evelyn and many brothers and sisters.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held on December 9, 2023, at 1:00pm at Harvest Time Tabernacle
